As Florida continues to grow and evolve, so must the technology that supports its government services.  Panelists will discuss strategies for upgrading legacy systems, improving cybersecurity and data privacy, leveraging cloud and emerging technologies, and enhancing digital service delivery. The conversation will also address funding models, workforce challenges, interagency collaboration, and how innovation can drive efficiency, transparency, and resilience across government operations.

Florida declared Dec. 8–12 “Artificial Intelligence Week” to study AI’s growing impact. As AI becomes more embedded in government, the state is exploring how to scale it responsibly across agencies—alongside the data center infrastructure that powers it, including energy, security, and resilience needs. This panel brings together state leaders to discuss opportunities, risks, and best practices for modernizing government with AI while ensuring accountability, ethics, and data protection.
