As Florida continues to grow and evolve, so must the technology that supports its government services.  Panelists will discuss strategies for upgrading legacy systems, improving cybersecurity and data privacy, leveraging cloud and emerging technologies, and enhancing digital service delivery. The conversation will also address funding models, workforce challenges, interagency collaboration, and how innovation can drive efficiency, transparency, and resilience across government operations.

Florida’s government declared Dec. 8th through 12th “Artificial Intelligence Week” and assigned a group of lawmakers to spend that week “studying the growing effects of AI.”  As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in government operations, Florida is exploring how to scale AI responsibly across agencies. This panel brings together state leaders to discuss opportunities, risks, and best practices for leveraging AI to modernize government while ensuring accountability, ethics, and data protection.
